Ensuring Your Child's Proper Development

Dr Joe adjusting infant brother overlooking adjustmentHave you considered that the first two years of your child’s development are crucial? There’s so much happening from birth until the toddler years. At Clear Chiropractic, we want to make sure your kid grows and develops just as they should.

Care For An Array of Concerns

When your baby is developing in utero, they adapt to their current space and the one they need to move through – the birth canal. The bones of their cranium move around, then settle into shape during the first years. One of the many things we do is cranium work and checking that the bones of the skull are aligned as they should be. It has allowed plenty of area parents to avoid getting a helmet for their child’s head shape.

Then, there are common problems like difficulty nursing, tongue tie, or inability to turn one side of the head. We can check for these issues or advise you on where to go to get help.

What to Expect

When you first bring your baby in, it might be because of a particular problem you’ve noticed. If that’s the case, we’ll likely recommend a higher frequency of visits up front. That period of more intensive work will allow us to build momentum and unwind some of those tension patterns.

Once your child’s symptoms abate, we won’t need to see them as often. Infants might need as little as a handful of adjustments. Then, we can transition to wellness care, which is designed to continue facilitating their optimal well-being.

Determining Your Child’s Needs

We want to objectively measure the function of your child’s nervous system to understand their needs and how best to meet them. With our INSiGHT scanning technology, we can do so with no radiation exposure. It’ll give us a functional picture of what’s occurring in the body, and what must be addressed.

Stress Happens!

As your child grows, they experience different forms of neurological and physical stress. Through each, we can support the structural and neurological development of the spine. As they learn to roll over, sit up, crawl, stand and run, we will support them in the ways they require through every phase of growing up.

We like to say, “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.”

It’s incredibly true when it comes to kids and chiropractic. If we make sure that they are able to take on the stresses of life, their body will be able to better adapt.

We love helping kids in our community grow and develop optimally!
