Look Forward to Your Baby's Arrival

pregnant woman on chiro table with doctorIf you’ve already had a child, what was your first birthing experience like? If you’re a first-time mom, what do you expect during your labor and birth? It’s tough to predict how any birth will go. Unfortunately, pregnant women tend to hear horror stories from others.

We don’t want you to feel unsupported or surrounded by negativity during this incredibly important time of life. In your final stages of pregnancy and labor, we are that critical support system for you.

Birth is a physical, mental and spiritual experience that we cannot perfectly predict. No amount of hearing other people’s stories can prepare you for the intensity of labor and birth. But you can certainly choose to set yourself up for greater success. That’s where we come in.

Getting You Ready for Labor and Birth

There are plenty of people who are unaware of the role that chiropractic can play during pregnancy. If you’re one of them, think of it like this: if an athlete is going to compete in an intense event, they need to prepare, right?

Birth is no different. You want to make sure you have as much power and resilience as possible. You need support and care to prepare yourself in mind, body and spirit, so you have a better overall outcome.

By setting yourself up this way, you have a better shot at enjoying an empowering experience rather than having birth be a brutal whirlwind.

When you start seeing us during pregnancy, we work to balance the various structures of the pelvis and hips. That ensures that baby has a more comfortable, spacious environment, leading to a better opportunity to get into the right position for birthing.

ANY Birth Is Magical

Balancing out your body isn’t just about baby in utero, either. It’s also about giving them the most space possible to travel through the birth canal when it’s time. Know, however, that we honor whichever type of birth you have, whether a planned C-section, home birth or hospital birth.

Labor, however, typically has better outcomes when you are under chiropractic care during pregnancy. We hear that all the time from moms who were under care for a second pregnancy, but not the first- that it’s SO much easier the second time around, thanks to chiropractic.

Whatever your birthing goals may be, we are here to support you in attaining them!
